Mission
LookDeep needed a digital experience that could effectively express the value of their AI-powered patient monitoring platform—something that reflected both the technical depth of their solution and the compassionate outcomes it supports. At the time, their brand identity and site lacked clarity and scalability, especially when communicating with external stakeholders and healthcare decision-makers.
Contributions
Website Analysis
Before moving into design, I conducted a comprehensive audit of the existing website to identify areas for improvement. Using tools like Semrush and heat maps, I analyzed SEO rankings, top-performing content, and page load speeds to understand what resonated with users. These insights helped define key opportunities—not only to enhance the site’s visual appeal, but to elevate its messaging and overall performance.
Key Considerations:
SEO Optimization
Information Architecture
WCAG Compliance
CMS Integration
Conversion-Oriented UX
Content Strategy
Design + Prototyping
During this phase, I led collaborative check-ins with our content, design, and development teams to address key pain points identified in the audit. I introduced Figma to the agency’s workflow—bringing high-fidelity prototyping into our process for the first time. This allowed us to demonstrate interactivity, animation, and user flow with greater clarity and alignment.
The design began with the homepage, incorporating competitive insights and standard features like service overviews, case studies, and blog activity. From there, I expanded into 4–5 secondary pages to showcase how the new visual identity scaled across modules—ensuring consistency in layout, usability, and brand expression.
WordPress Development
With several key page designs approved, I transitioned into development within the WordPress environment. Guided by insights from the initial site audit, I optimized image assets, implemented SEO-friendly heading structures, and followed best practices for embedding video to ensure fast load times and strong search performance.
A major focus was the creation of tailored service pages to highlight the client’s broad capabilities across healthcare roles—from nursing and admin to physicians. To support lead generation, I integrated HubSpot with Gravity Forms, streamlining inquiries by routing them to the appropriate contact based on user-selected services. This automation improved both the client’s internal efficiency and the end-user experience.
Although only a few designs were initially presented, I scaled the full site using the user flow map as a blueprint—extending consistent design patterns and visual language across all pages. The final site was submitted for client review, with adjustments made based on feedback.
QA + Launch
After implementing client feedback, I collaborated with our internal team to lead a comprehensive QA process focused on performance, user experience, and responsive behavior across devices and browsers. I provided a shared tracking spreadsheet for the account team to log issues by device and browser, ensuring organized documentation and resolution.
Key QA checkpoints included verifying button links, checking for layout inconsistencies, testing forms, and catching any spelling or content errors. Once all issues were addressed and final approval was secured, we moved into launch.
Using traffic data from Semrush, we scheduled the launch during a low-traffic window to minimize disruption. This allowed us to monitor performance post-launch and ensure a smooth transition for users with minimal friction.
